Garden insect netting for plant protection

This white mosquito netting measures 10 by 13 feet and is made from lightweight polyester fibre with an ultrafine mesh. It forms a physical barrier that keeps insects, bugs and birds away from vegetables, fruit trees and seedlings while still allowing sunlight, rain and air to reach the plants. The material is soft and breathable so it can rest directly on foliage without weighing it down.

Flexible sizing for frames and row covers

The netting tears easily by hand so you can cut custom shapes for raised beds, patio frames, balcony railings or gazebo openings without needing tools. Watering and liquid feeding can be done through the mesh, removing the need to lift or remove the cover each time. It also works as a decorative fabric for events such as weddings or Halloween displays.

Breathable mesh reduces heat build-up

Because the ultrafine polyester weave lets air flow freely, temperatures under the netting stay close to ambient conditions during normal daytime use. The fabric adds negligible weight to plant stems and does not trap moisture, helping to maintain a healthy growing environment without additional ventilation.

Questions about this item

What is the first limit that shows up under sustained outdoor exposure?

The ultrafine polyester mesh allows sunlight, rain and air through but can tear if pulled or snagged on rough frames, so the fabric strength is the first limit in long-term use.

How much heat builds up when the netting stays in full sun all day?

The breathable polyester lets air circulate freely, so heat does not accumulate under the mesh and plants stay at ambient temperature.

What mounting hardware must I already have to hang the 10 x 13 ft sheet?

You need poles, a frame, clips or ties suited to a 9.84 x 19.69 ft span; the netting itself has no grommets or built-in fasteners.
