120 Amp Battery Tester
The Milton 1260M tests 6 and 12 volt batteries with an analog display and a lever-action design. It provides a 120 amp load and includes a 12 second cut-off timer to prevent overheating during use.
1,000 CCA Capacity
Rated for 1,000 cold cranking amps, the tester handles most automotive and light truck batteries with headroom to spare. It runs out of range on larger commercial or heavy-duty equipment batteries that exceed the rated capacity.
Hand-Held Thermals
The aluminum body acts as a heat sink during the short test cycle, remaining comfortable to hold. No fan or external power is required, so operation is silent and power draw is limited to the battery under test.

Questions about this item
Will the 120 AMP tester work on the 6 and 12 volt batteries I already have in the garage?
Yes, the tester is designed for both 6 and 12 volt batteries, so it covers the older units you are keeping.
How can I confirm the analog display is reading correctly after I hook it up?
Apply the clamps to a known good battery; the needle should move smoothly to the indicated charge level without sticking.
Does the 1260M come with the test cables attached or do I need to buy leads separately?
The unit includes the built-in cable and clamps shown in the specifications; no separate leads are required.
