USB-C power delivery profile
This 65W USB-C adapter delivers up to 20V at 3.25A and supports lower fixed-voltage steps at 5V, 9V, 12V and 15V. It accepts 100-240V AC input at 50-60Hz and uses a standard UK three-pin plug. The unit is supplied new and includes an IEC test report.
Dell Latitude, XPS and Chromebook compatibility
The charger matches a long list of Dell part numbers including LA65NM170, HA65NM170 and DA65NM170 and fits Latitude 5000, 7000 and 9000 series models as well as XPS 13 and XPS 15 devices. It also covers select Chromebook, Vostro and Rugged models. Buyers with laptops that require a higher fixed 20V current or a proprietary barrel connector should look elsewhere.
Maximum 20V 3.25A output current
The single specification that decides fit is the 20V 3.25A peak output; devices needing more current at 20V will not charge at full speed. All other voltages are capped at 3A.

Questions about this item
How warm does the 65W USB-C charger get when left plugged in all day?
The adapter meets IEC test-report limits for continuous operation at 20V 3.25A; it runs warm but stays within normal temperature range for a 65W GaN-class supply.
Does my laptop need a USB-C Power Delivery port to use this 65W charger?
Yes — your device must accept 20V 3.25A over USB-C PD; the brick cannot charge legacy barrel-jack models.
Will this 65W USB-C charger run a Latitude 7420 and an older Latitude 5290 at the same time?
The unit has a single USB-C output, so it powers one laptop at a time; swap the cable to charge the second machine.
