Compact USB-C ambient light for cars and desks

This two-pack of USB-C LED lights adds coloured atmosphere to a vehicle interior, laptop or keyboard. Each unit measures 1.1 by .6 inches and weighs .009 kilograms, so it fits flush in a Type-C port without protruding. Flame-retardant ABS housing resists heat from repeated insertion and removal. Eight selectable colours suit drivers and desk users who want subtle mood lighting.

Plug-in design with sensor and memory

The lights draw power directly from any USB-C socket, requiring no wiring or adhesive mounting. A built-in sensor switches the lamp on in darkness and off in bright conditions automatically. After ten seconds the current colour choice is stored and recalled on the next power cycle. Double-click toggles between fixed colour and breathing gradient modes; a long press adjusts brightness.

Low-power cool-running operation

Output is rated at .1 watts, so the modules stay cool during continuous use and place negligible load on the host port. No fan or moving parts means completely silent running. The automatic sensor prevents unnecessary drain when ambient light is sufficient. Ideal for always-on accent lighting without thermal or noise concerns.

Questions about this item

Does the USB Type-C ambient light automatically cycle through all 8 colors, or can I lock it to one?

It powers up in an 8‑color breathing cycle. Press the button once to freeze the current hue; the choice is memorised after 10 seconds and restored on next use.

What physical space does each 1.1×0.6 in module need behind a dashboard or laptop port?

Each unit measures 1.1 inches long by 0.6 inches wide and weighs 0.009 kg, so it fits in tight USB‑C recesses without blocking adjacent ports.

How do I switch between fixed colour, breathing mode and off without a manual?

Double‑click toggles fixed vs breathing; single click steps colours in fixed mode; long‑press dims or brightens; triple‑click turns the light off completely.
