Replacement lamp module with 250 W UHP bulb and housing, rated for 1,500 hours
The Christie Vivid LW40 POA-LMP73 is a complete lamp-and-housing assembly designed for Christie projectors. It arrives fully assembled so technicians can swap the module without handling a bare bulb. The unit uses a Philips UHP 250W lamp rated for 1,500 hours of operation. It suits venues that need a direct replacement without additional alignment steps.
The 250W UHP lamp draws its rated power once ignited and reaches a stable operating temperature within minutes. Cooling is handled by the projector’s own airflow system, so acoustic output matches the host unit’s normal fan profile. No extra power circuitry or external ballast is required beyond what the projector already provides. Consistent ignition voltage is verified during ISO 9001 production checks.
Each module undergoes beam-performance, ignition-voltage, run-time and cosmetic inspections before shipping. Depending on stock, the bulb may come from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita, or from a top-tier compatible manufacturer using genuine OEM parts. The lamp is not suited for projectors that require a different wattage or a non-UHP light source. Buyers needing a higher-hour rating or a different connector should verify their model first.

The module ships as a complete bulb-and-housing unit, so you only need to open the projector lamp door, remove the old module, insert the new one until it seats firmly, then close the door and reset the lamp-hour counter in the menu; skipping the counter reset is the step most people forget.
The UHP 250W bulb is rated for 1500 hours of use; after that the lamp module must be replaced, and the only other upkeep is occasionally cleaning the projector air filters to maintain airflow.
The 1500-hour rated lifespan is the primary limit; as hours accumulate brightness drops and the risk of lamp failure rises, so plan replacement before reaching that threshold.
