Vinyl electrical tape on four continuous 33-yard rolls, 4 inches wide and 20 mil thick, rated from -55 °F to 175 °F for corrosion protection and insulation
This vinyl tape is designed for electrical insulation and corrosion protection on wiring and cable. It comes in a pack of four continuous rolls, each 4 inches wide and 33 3/8 yards long. The tape uses a rubber-based adhesive and is rated for performance between -55 and 175 degrees Fahrenheit. It carries the 3M and Scotchrap Series 51 branding.
The tape maintains adhesion and flexibility across a wide temperature span from minus 55 degrees Fahrenheit up to 175 degrees Fahrenheit. At 20 mil thick, it provides a substantial barrier against moisture and abrasion in normal use. The rubber adhesive bonds to itself and to cable jackets without requiring heat or special tools. No voltage rating is assigned by the manufacturer.
The package contains four separate rolls so teams can keep one at each work station or vehicle. Each roll is unprinted and single-sided for consistent wrapping on irregular shapes. The continuous length reduces the need for frequent roll changes during large jobs. There is no bundled software or additional accessories included with this product.

Stretch the vinyl gently as you spiral-wrap, overlapping each turn by half the width so the rubber adhesive fuses into a continuous corrosion-protection layer without air pockets.
Replace it if the black jacket shows cracking, chalking or loss of adhesion after exposure beyond the -55 °F to 175 °F performance window or after mechanical damage disturbs the seal.
The rubber adhesive is rated to maintain performance up to 175 °F; sustained heat above that limit causes the bond to soften and the corrosion-protection seal to fail first.
