18-Inch Microfibre Flat Mop

The 3M EasyScrub Plus pad measures eighteen inches wide and uses a hook-and-loop backing for quick attachment to a compatible flat-mop frame. White spun-yarn polyester loops are designed to reach into uneven floor surfaces while the colour-coding system helps teams match pads to specific zones. Each pack contains ten launderable pads so housekeeping crews can rotate stock through wash cycles without running short.

Build Integration

Pads ship without a handle or frame, so you must supply a hook-and-loop flat-mop holder such as the 59088 or an equivalent Grainger-listed part. The five-inch depth and six-ounce dry weight keep the loaded mop light enough for extended push-pull work, and the lack of a fixed tailband means the same frame can accept other pad styles when tasks change. Launderable construction lets the pads return to service after standard washing, reducing disposable waste.

Thermals Noise Power

As a passive cleaning textile the pad generates no heat, draws no power and produces no audible noise during use. Microfibre material releases trapped moisture quickly after wringing, so drying time between shifts stays short. Durability over repeated launderings depends on wash temperature and chemical exposure rather than any electrical or mechanical wear factor.

Questions about this item

How long does an 18 in microfiber pad last on rough floors before the loops wear out?

The spun yarn polyester loops are launderable and designed for uneven surfaces, so each pad survives repeated wash cycles and heavy daily use.

Does the hook-and-loop back stay cool and quiet during all-day scrubbing?

The flat microfiber pad has no moving parts, draws no power and produces no heat or noise while in use.

Which handle or frame do I need to attach these 10 pads?

They connect by hook-and-loop to the 3M 59088 flat mop frame, which is sold separately.
