Transparent Office Tape

Scotch Transparent Office Tape is a glossy tape with a high-clarity finish that provides instant adhesion and excellent holding power. The long-aging formula resists moisture and stains while remaining clear without yellowing. It is photo-safe and pulls off the roll smoothly for easy cutting. This tape suits multipurpose sealing, label protection, general wrapping and mending.

Ideal Uses and Limitations

This tape is suited for office staff, teachers and home users who need a reliable, clear tape for everyday sealing, wrapping and mending tasks. The 3-inch core fits standard desktop dispensers. Buyers who need a different core size, a different width, or a heavy-duty packaging tape for shipping cartons should look at other products.

Core Size

The tape is wound on a 3-inch core, which determines compatibility with standard desktop tape dispensers. Each roll provides 2592 inches of tape at a 3/4-inch width, supplied as a two-roll pack.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 3M 600-2P34-72 tape on a dispenser with a 3" core, and what step do people often miss?

Slide each roll onto the 3" core spindle, thread the tape through the guide, and pull until adhesive contacts the roller; the step often missed is seating the roll flush so it feeds without binding.

What maintenance or replacement will the 3M 600-2P34-72 tape need over time?

The two rolls provide 2592 inches each; replace a roll when it runs out — no other maintenance is required for this moisture-resistant, non-yellowing tape.

What limit appears first during sustained sealing tasks with the 3M 600-2P34-72 tape?

The practical limit is roll length — each 2592-inch roll eventually exhausts, so high-volume use means more frequent roll changes.
