7300 Series High-Productivity Pads

The 3M 8271 floor pads belong to the 7300 series and come in a carton of five. They are built for commercial floor and carpet care where frequent pad changes are expected. Cleaning crews and facility managers use them to maintain hard floors and carpeted areas with consistent results. The black colour signals a formulation suited for heavy-duty stripping or aggressive cleaning tasks.

Sustained Use Across Multiple Jobs

Each pad is designed to maintain its structure through extended stripping or scrubbing sessions without rapid disintegration. The pack of five supports a full shift or several smaller jobs before a new carton is needed. Performance stays steady as the abrasive surface wears evenly across the pad face. Teams can plan pad rotations around the carton count rather than guessing remaining life.

Disposable Construction and Carton Storage

The pads arrive in a single carton that keeps the stack flat and protected until deployment. No mounting hardware or machine-specific adapters are required; they fit standard floor machine drivers. After use the pads are discarded, eliminating the need for washing, drying or storage of soiled material. This disposable approach reduces cross-contamination between different floor zones.

Questions about this item

How much noise, heat or power does the 7300 floor pad generate when used all day?

The 7300 floor pad is a passive cleaning accessory with no motor or electrical components, so it produces no noise, heat or power draw during extended use.

What equipment must I already own for the 13-inch black pads to work?

The 13-inch pads fit standard rotary floor machines or automatic scrubbers that accept 13-inch drive blocks or pad holders.

Will the 8271 model damage older floor finishes I want to keep?

The black 7300 pad is designed for heavy stripping; it can remove aged finish layers, so test a small area first if you need to preserve the existing coating.
