The 3M 8426-11 Cold Shrink Insulator provides a tool-free sealing solution for electrical splices and terminations. It is designed for electricians and maintenance crews working with wire sizes from 2/0 AWG to 250 MCM. The EPDM rubber construction delivers reliable insulation without requiring a heat source.

Replaces heat-shrink methods

This cold shrink tubing eliminates the need for torches or heat guns on job sites where open flame is restricted. The jump is worth it when installation speed and safety are priorities, especially in confined spaces or adverse weather. It slides over the connection and shrinks to a 0.55 in inner diameter after core removal.

Handles up to 1000 V dielectric

Each 11 in length withstands voltages up to 1,000 V and operates continuously from -40 to 194 degrees F.
