20" White Super Polish Floor Pad 4100

This pack contains five 3M 8484 Super Polish Floor Pads measuring 20 inches in diameter. The pads are designed for buffing very soft finishes to a high gloss. They are suited for facility maintenance teams and cleaning professionals who need consistent results on delicate floor surfaces. Each pad is colour-coded black and white for easy identification.

Compatibility with floor machines and finish types

Verify that your rotary or automatic floor machine accepts 20-inch drive pads before ordering. Confirm the existing floor finish is classified as very soft, as these pads are formulated specifically for that hardness level. Using them on harder finishes may reduce pad life and polishing effectiveness.

Replaces worn 20" buffing pads for soft finishes

These pads replace spent 20-inch polishing pads that no longer deliver a uniform gloss on very soft floor coatings. The upgrade is worthwhile when current pads leave swirl marks, load quickly or fail to restore shine after cleaning. They are not intended for scrubbing, stripping or general-purpose buffing on medium or hard finishes.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 3M 8484 carton and what else is needed to use it?

The carton contains five 20-inch white Super Polish 4100 pads. A compatible floor machine or buffer with a 20-inch drive is required and sold separately.

Why choose the 4100 grade pad over other 3M pads?

The 4100 grade is designed specifically for buffing very soft finishes, so select it when the floor coating is delicate and a finer polish is needed.

How does the 20-inch diameter perform on a standard buffer?

A 20-inch pad covers a wide path on a matching buffer, letting you polish large areas quickly while the Super Polish 4100 material delivers a high-gloss finish on soft coatings.
