3M 850 Polyester Film Tape White

This is a continuous roll of white polyester film tape with an acrylic adhesive on one side. It is designed for electrical insulation and general-purpose wrapping where a thin, strong backing is required.

For electrical insulation and splicing tasks

Suits electricians and technicians who need a tape that performs from minus 60 degrees F up to 300 degrees F with a tensile strength of 28 lb-in. Not for buyers who need a wider roll or a different adhesive chemistry for specialised substrates.

1.9 mil thickness with 28 lb-in tensile strength

The 1.9 mil backing delivers 28 lb-in tensile strength and 30 oz/in adhesion, making it the key specification for determining if the tape meets the mechanical demands of the application.
