Questions about this item

Does the 983-326 ES Conspicuity Tape roll contain mounting hardware or is it adhesive only?

The 2 in by 50 yd roll uses an acrylic adhesive backing on retroreflective microprismatic material; no separate brackets, rivets or fasteners are included in the box.

Should I choose the 2 in width or look for a different size for my truck?

This specific 326 model is manufactured only in the 2 in width with alternating 6 in red and 6 in white segments; other widths carry different part numbers.

How well does the 2.5 lb/in adhesion on FRP hold after a winter of road salt and pressure washing?

The acrylic adhesive delivers 2.5 lb/in on FRP, 3.0 lb/in on Tedlar and prepainted panels, 3.5 lb/in on aluminum rail, 5.3 lb/in on degreased aluminum and 6.0 lb/in on stainless steel, maintaining bond through temperature cycles and wash cycles when applied to clean, dry surfaces.
