Adjustable Sit-Stand Keyboard Tray

The 3M AKT170LE provides a 25-inch wide platform that supports both sitting and standing work positions. Its Easy Adjust arm raises the tray up to 10 inches above the mounting surface without levers or knobs. A built-in tilt and height indicator helps users find an ergonomic setup quickly. The unit includes a gel wrist rest with antimicrobial protection and a battery-saving mousing surface.

Desk Clamp Compatibility and Clearance

Verify that your desk edge accepts a clamp mount and offers enough thickness for secure attachment. Ensure at least 23 inches of horizontal track clearance exists so the tray can glide and stow fully underneath. Confirm the surface can accommodate a platform measuring 25 inches wide by 12 inches deep. The tray suits right- or left-handed mousing configurations.

Ergonomic Workstation Integration

The tray frees up desktop space by storing completely under the desk when not in use. It positions keyboard and mouse at the correct height to reduce repetitive stress risk during long sessions. The antimicrobial gel wrist rest and 75 percent battery-life extension for wireless mice add daily comfort. The arm’s wide height range supports quick posture changes throughout the day.

Questions about this item

Does the AKT170LE ship fully assembled or do I need to buy a mounting kit separately?

The tray includes the Easy Adjust sit/stand arm, 23" glide track, 25" x 12" platform, gel wrist rest with antimicrobial protection and the 3M Precise mousing surface; no extra mounting kit is required.

The AKT170LE comes in a single 25" platform size; how do I know it fits my keyboard and preferred mousing hand?

The 25" straight platform accommodates most keyboards and supports both right- and left-handed mousing, so the one size offered covers the typical use cases.

The arm raises the platform up to 10" above the desk — what does that actually give me when I switch between sitting and standing?

The 10" vertical range lets you move the tray from a low seated typing height to a comfortable standing height without tools, and the built-in tilt and height indicator helps you lock in the ergonomic sweet spot each time.
