What the Ergotron MX Desk Mount Is

The Ergotron 45-214-026 MX Desk Mount LCD Arm is a fully assembled monitor arm that clamps to a desk edge. It supports screens up to 30 inches and provides 13 inches of height adjustment plus integrated tilt and 360-degree rotation. The articulating arm folds back into a compact retracted position for tight spaces.

Who This Arm Suits and Who It Does Not

This mount suits users who want ergonomic screen positioning without drilling the desk, thanks to a clamp that fits surfaces .31 to 2 inches thick. It is not for buyers who need support for displays larger than 30 inches. It is also not for setups that require a grommet mount or a fixed wall installation.

Behaviour Under Sustained Daily Adjustment

The arm holds position through constant tension adjustment, allowing repeated height, tilt and portrait-to-landscape changes without sag. Its 360-degree rotation and compact retraction endure daily movement in space-constrained areas. The sturdy clamp maintains a secure grip on the desk edge throughout extended use.
