Adjustable sit/stand keyboard tray

The 3M AKT180LE is an adjustable keyboard tray designed for office workers who alternate between sitting and standing. It mounts beneath a desk and uses an easy-adjust arm that tilts, locks and releases with a simple motion. The platform holds both keyboard and mouse at a comfortable level to support long periods of typing and pointing.

Height range and wrist support

The arm adjusts 10 inches above the mounting surface and 4 inches below it, letting you switch posture throughout the day. A dial knob sets the platform tilt to the desired angle. An articulating mousing platform mounts on either side and tilts forward or back. A leatherette gel wrist rest and Precise Mouse Pad are included for added comfort.

Sustained daily use

Sturdy lateral adjustments keep the keyboard exactly positioned during extended sessions. The arm carries a lifetime warranty, the platform five years and the gel wrist rests one year. The unit contains 25 percent pre-consumer recycled content and is sold as a single complete assembly.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the AKT180LE tray and what is the step people often miss?

Mount the arm to the underside of the desk, then set the platform height anywhere from 10 inches above to 4 inches below the surface; the step often missed is tightening the tilt knob after angling the platform so it locks in place.

Which parts of the AKT180LE will need replacement first and when?

The leatherette gel wrist rests carry a one-year warranty and typically wear before the platform, which is covered for five years, or the arm, which has a lifetime warranty.

What is the first limit I will hit when using the AKT180LE all day?

The height range stops at 10 inches above and 4 inches below the mounting surface, so very tall or very short users may reach that limit before the tilt or lateral adjustments run out.
