3M EPS300 1/2" 48" Black 12 PCS Heat Shrink Tubing

SKU CH-2FZ4-H1RKZ

Adhesive-lined polyolefin tubing shrinks 3:1 to seal 6–1 AWG wires, resisting abrasion, acid, alkali and temperatures from -67 °F to 230 °F

  • 3:1 shrink ratio seals connections fast
  • Adhesive-lined polyolefin blocks moisture and corrosion
  • Flame-retardant material withstands -67 °F to 230 °F
  • Abrasion- and chemical-resistant wall protects wires
  • 12 pieces of 48 in tubing cover multiple jobs

Professional-grade heat-shrink for automotive wiring

This adhesive-lined polyolefin tubing seals and protects wire splices in harsh environments. The 3:1 shrink ratio covers 6 AWG to 1 AWG conductors with a single size. Twelve pieces at four feet each provide forty-eight feet of continuous coverage. Flame-retardant material meets demanding safety requirements.

Replaces tape and non-adhesive sleeves

The inner adhesive layer melts at two hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit to create a watertight bond that tape cannot match. Upgrade when vibration, moisture or chemical exposure cause standard insulation to fail. Thin wall construction keeps bundles compact while adding abrasion and acid resistance. Not suited for repairs needing heavy-wall mechanical protection.

Limited by shrink temperature and wall thickness

Minimum activation at two hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit requires a heat gun; open flame risks uneven shrinkage. Operating range spans minus sixty-seven to two hundred thirty degrees Fahrenheit. Recovered wall thickness of point zero seven inches offers electrical insulation but limited impact protection. Buyers needing larger diameters or higher voltage ratings must select different specifications.
