19-inch Gold Privacy Filter

The 3M GPF190 is a gold-coloured privacy filter built for 19-inch monitors with a 5:4 aspect ratio. It limits side viewing angles so on-screen data stays visible only to the person directly in front of the display. The reversible design lets you switch between a gold finish and a black finish to suit different lighting conditions or preferences. Office workers and anyone handling confidential information on a standard 19-inch screen will find it a practical fit.

Blue Light Reduction and Glare Control

The filter incorporates blue light reduction to lessen eye strain during long sessions and a glossy surface that resists scratches and dust. Because it attaches with supplied strips or slide-mount tabs, no adhesive residue is left on the monitor bezel. Power draw, thermals and noise are not applicable to this passive accessory, so the monitor’s own characteristics remain unchanged.

Durable Performance Under Continuous Use

Scratch-resistant coating and dust protection keep optical clarity consistent even after months of daily cleaning and handling. The reversible gold-to-black surfaces maintain their privacy effect and colour fidelity without degradation over time. Limited warranty coverage runs for one year from purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the GPF190 filter to my 19" monitor and which step do people often miss?

Clean the screen, then apply the included attachment strips to the monitor bezel; the step many miss is pressing each strip firmly for several seconds so the adhesive bonds before sliding the filter into the tabs.

What upkeep will the GPF190 need over time?

Wipe the gold or black surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust; the scratch-resistant coating and dust protection mean no special cleaners or replacement parts are required during normal use.

At what screen size does the GPF190 stop fitting properly?

The filter is built for a 19" monitor with a 5:4 aspect ratio measuring 11.89" high by 14.84" wide; larger or widescreen displays will leave gaps or overhang.
