3M Hand-Masker Masking Plastic Refill Roll 12 in x 60 yds Semi-transparent

12 in x 60 yds masking plastic refill

This 3M Hand-Masker refill roll supplies 12-inch wide semi-transparent plastic sheeting for paint protection tasks. It is designed for professional painters and DIY users who need to cover windows, trim or railings quickly. The roll provides 60 yards of continuous material suited to single-coat applications.

Practical limits of the Hand-Masker system

The plastic requires the 3M Hand-Masker M3000 dispenser or a compatible Scotch Blue tape and paper dispenser for efficient deployment. Without the dispenser the roll is difficult to unroll, cut and apply evenly across large surfaces. The film is formulated for single-coat jobs only; heavy multi-coat build-up may exceed its protection capability.

Flake-resistant build with translucent finish

The waterproof plastic resists rain, dew and washwater without degrading or allowing bleed-through. Its flake-resistant composition prevents particles from contaminating fresh paint. The translucent quality lets light pass through masked windows so interior work can continue. At one pound ten ounces the roll is light enough to carry around a job site and flexible enough to wrap irregular shapes.
