Fire Barrier Sealant for Construction

3M IC-15WB+ is a fire-resistant sealant designed for firestopping penetrations in commercial and residential buildings. It applies with a standard caulk gun and adheres to all common construction surfaces. The yellow sausage pack contains 20 oz of material rated for a 3 hr fire resistance period.

Suited for Firestop Professionals

This product suits contractors and maintenance teams who need a reliable sealant for through-penetration firestop systems in walls and floors. It is not intended for buyers who require an expanding intumescent wrap or collar for plastic pipe penetrations. Projects needing a different fire rating or colour should consider alternative firestop products.

3-Hour Fire Rating Decides Fit

The defining specification is the 3 hr fire rating achieved in tested firestop systems. This rating determines whether the sealant meets the code requirements for a specific wall or floor assembly. Verify the tested system details against your project specifications before purchase.
