This 3M Industrial twist-on wire connector joins solid or stranded copper conductors in electrical installations. The wing-style polypropylene shell provides grip for hand tightening without tools. UL Listed for 600 V maximum and rated to 221 degrees F operating temperature. Suited for residential, commercial and light industrial wiring tasks.

Wire-range 14 to 6 AWG copper

The connector accepts a single conductor from 14 AWG up to 6 AWG. Minimum combination is six 14 AWG wires; maximum combination is three 8 AWG wires. Steel contact inserts ensure mechanical hold and electrical continuity across the approved range. Exceeding the stated combinations voids the listing and risks overheating.

Handles up to three 8 AWG conductors

Within the UL-listed limits the connector comfortably splices multiple branch-circuit conductors in junction boxes. It runs out when the wire count or gauge exceeds the published maximum combination, requiring a larger connector or alternative splicing method. Not suitable for aluminium conductors or voltages above 600 V.
