This 3M M6-12R/SK ring terminal connects 6 AWG copper building wire, fixtures or signs to a half-inch stud. The barrel accepts only 6 AWG conductors and is crimped for a permanent joint. It suits installers who need a single-wire termination at up to 1,000 V.

1,000 V and 347 °F Operational Ceiling

The terminal is rated for a maximum of 1,000 volts and a maximum operating temperature of 347 degrees Fahrenheit. These limits define the highest voltage and heat the copper barrel and tin finish can withstand in service. Exceeding either value risks insulation breakdown or mechanical failure.
