What this lamp fits

The 3M Optoma TX532 compatible projector lamp is a direct replacement module for Optoma projectors that use the BL-FP180D lamp code. It arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing unit, so the installer does not need to handle a bare bulb or align separate components.

Deciding specification

The lamp uses a 180 W P-VIP bulb rated for 3000 hours in normal mode and 4000 hours in economy mode. If the projector requires a different wattage or a different lamp code, this module will not strike or will trigger an error.

Installation and common issues

Replacement is tool-free on most Optoma models: open the lamp door, release the retaining latch, slide the old module out and push the new one in until it seats. The most frequent problem is forgetting to reset the lamp-hour counter in the projector menu, which leaves the replacement warning active.
