3M PF15.6W Privacy Filter for 15.6" Widescreen Laptop

Privacy filter for 15.6" widescreen laptops

The 3M PF15.6W privacy filter is designed for widescreen notebook computers with a diagonally measured 15.6" viewable screen. It uses microlouver technology to narrow the viewing angle so that only the person directly in front sees a clear image. The filter measures 7.63" high by 13.56" wide and fits the 16:9 aspect ratio. It is proudly made in the USA.

Suited for open-plan offices and travel.

This filter suits professionals who handle confidential data in open-plan offices, on trains or in cafés and need to prevent visual hacking from side angles. The matte side also reduces glare from overhead lighting. It is not intended for users who regularly share their screen with colleagues sitting beside them, because the privacy effect blocks side views by design.

Consistent privacy under continuous use

The microlouver structure maintains its viewing-angle restriction indefinitely because it relies on a physical optical layer rather than an active coating that can degrade. Glare reduction from the matte surface remains constant during long work sessions. No power or software is required, so performance does not vary with battery state or system load.
