22" Widescreen Privacy Filter

The 3M PF22.0W is a frameless privacy filter built for widescreen desktop monitors with a diagonally measured 22 inch viewing area. It uses microlouver technology to restrict visibility so only persons directly in front of the screen can see the image clearly. The filter also helps protect the LCD panel from scratches and abrasions during daily use. It weighs 0.77 units and stays attached even when a notebook is closed.

Microlouver Viewing Limits

The privacy effect works by darkening on-screen content when viewed from side angles while preserving clarity for the user centred in front of the display. No blurring or distortion is introduced to the direct view. This makes the filter suitable for high-traffic environments where visual confidentiality is required. The technology relies on a precise louver structure that cannot be adjusted after installation.

Check Monitor Dimensions First

Before ordering, verify that your widescreen monitor has a 22 inch diagonal screen measurement and an active display area matching 18.67 inches wide by 11.68 inches high. The frameless design requires this exact fit to stay secure without a mounting frame. Monitors with different aspect ratios, bezels that overlap the active area, or curved panels will not align correctly with this filter.
