Hard cup and collar set for PPS liners

The 3M PPS 16001 provides a reusable hard cup and collar that secure the flexible liner used in the 3M Paint Preparation System. This combination supports the liner during measuring, mixing, filtering and spraying tasks. It is intended for painters who need a rigid holder for the disposable liner.

Standard 22 oz capacity for typical paint volumes

The cup and collar are sized at 22 oz to accommodate common paint batch amounts within the PPS workflow. This capacity fits standard mixing and spraying jobs without requiring a larger or smaller vessel. Buyers who need a different volume for very small touch-ups or large panels will need another size.

Part number 16001 identifies the exact cup

The model number 16001 distinguishes this Standard 22 oz hard cup and collar from other PPS accessories. Matching this number ensures the correct fit for the corresponding flexible liners and lids. Painters using a different PPS series or adapter must verify compatibility before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How often will the 22 oz hard cup and collar need replacement?

The hard cup and collar are reusable components that support disposable liners; replace them only if they become cracked, warped, or no longer seal against the liner.

What is the maximum paint volume the 16001 cup can hold before it limits a job?

The cup capacity is 22 oz, so any single mix larger than that must be split into multiple batches.

Does the 16001 cup and collar generate heat or noise during all-day spraying?

The cup and collar are passive accessories with no moving parts or electrical components, so they produce no noise or heat during use.
