Pre-printed wire markers for electrical labelling

The 3M SDR-6 refill supplies 576 self-adhesive polyester labels printed black on white. Each marker is 0.22 in wide and 0.003 in thick on a 0.900 in roll. Designed for electricians and technicians who need quick, legible identification on site.

Replaces hand-written tags or generic tape

Pre-printed legend 6 eliminates the time and inconsistency of manual marking. The jump is worth it when a project demands uniform, durable labels that resist abrasion and stay readable through handling and panel assembly.

Covers 6/0 to 24 AWG with acrylic adhesive

The 576 labels handle a broad range of wire diameters and remain secure from -40 °F to 250 °F. Headroom runs out when a job requires a different legend, larger label dimensions, or a non-polyester substrate for specialised environments.

Questions about this item

The refill fits a dispenser with manufacturer number STD, taking one roll per legend.

How do you apply the self-adhesive markers without them lifting?

When should the roll be replaced during long-term use?

Replace the roll after the 576 preprinted Legend 6 labels are used or if the acrylic adhesive loses tack after prolonged exposure at the 250 °F upper limit.
