Decora Vertical Blank Insert

The Tripp Lite N042D-100V-WH is a white Decora-style centre plate insert designed to cover unused keystone jack cutouts in compatible wall plates. It suits installers and homeowners who want a clean, finished appearance for structured wiring outlets. The blank insert prevents dust, tampering and unauthorised connections at open ports.

Tool-Free Installation Fit

The insert mounts flush into a standard Decora-style wall plate opening using the supplied hardware. No specialised tools are required beyond a basic screwdriver for the plate screws. The main installation issue occurs when the insert is forced into a non-Decora aperture or when the plate screws are over-tightened, which can crack the ABS body.

Long-Term Durability

High-impact polycarbonate construction resists everyday knocks and UV exposure without yellowing or becoming brittle. The material maintains its structural integrity and white finish through years of continuous wall mounting. There are no moving parts or electronic components to degrade under sustained environmental load.
