This 3M thin-wall polyolefin tubing shrinks at a 3:1 ratio to fit wire sizes from 4 AWG to 3/0 AWG. The black tubing measures 0.71 in before shrinking and 0.24 in after shrinking with a 0.03 in wall thickness. It operates from -67 to 275 degrees F and provides 600 V dielectric strength.

A 3:1 shrink ratio covers a wider range of diameters than 2:1 alternatives, reducing the number of sizes kept in stock. The flame-retardant polyolefin material adds safety where standard PVC sleeving would not meet requirements.
