What it is and who it's for

The 4XEM 4XAPPLEEAR is a wired earbud set with a 3.5mm connector, built-in microphone and in-line remote. It suits listeners who want a simple stereo audio solution for older iPhone, iPod or iPad models that still provide a headphone jack.

Installation and common issues

Plug the 3.5mm jack firmly into the device port until it clicks; the on-cable remote then handles volume, playback and calls without extra software. A loose connection can cause one-sided audio or microphone failure, so keep the plug and socket free of lint.

Check before ordering

Verify that your device has a native 3.5mm headphone socket, because many current models rely solely on Lightning or USB-C ports. These earbuds weigh 0.06 units and use an outer-ear fit, so confirm that this form factor matches your comfort preference.
