30 W megaphone for coaches and event staff

This 30 W megaphone projects voice up to 800 yard and includes a built-in microphone, siren mode and an 8-second recording function. Volume is adjustable from the rear control. Four D-type batteries are supplied, so the unit works straight from the box.

Battery power and compact size suit outdoor use

The speaker runs on four D cells, removing any need for mains cables or external packs. At 6.3 x 6.4 x 10.3 inches and 1.9 lb it fits in a gear bag and leaves hands free for coaching, crowd control or cheerleading duties.

Sustained output depends on battery condition

Continuous talk or siren use will gradually reduce projection distance as the cells discharge. The recording loop plays back without extra strain, but extended high-volume sessions will eventually require fresh batteries to maintain the rated range.

Questions about this item

How long will the four D batteries last when the megaphone is run at full 30W output all day?

The megaphone draws 30W from four D cells; at maximum volume the batteries will deplete in a few hours, so plan on swapping them during extended events.

How loud does the 30W megaphone get in normal indoor use?

At 30W the unit produces a strong, clear voice projection that reaches 800 yards outdoors; indoors it is loud enough for large halls without distortion.

What extra equipment is needed to play audio from a USB stick or SD card?

The megaphone has a built-in USB/SD port, so you only need a standard USB flash drive or SD card formatted with compatible audio files.
