Universal Instrument Capo

The 5 Core CAPO AL BLU is a lightweight aluminium alloy capo designed for acoustic guitar, electric guitar, ukulele, banjo, bass and mandolin. It uses a strong spring mechanism for one-hand operation and quick fret changes during performance. The low-profile design keeps the capo close to the neck for comfortable play across various neck shapes.

Bundled Picks and Carry Bag

Six celluloid guitar picks are included so you can start playing immediately without buying separate plectrums. A dedicated carry bag stores the capo and picks together, protecting the silicone padding from dust and keeping the small accessories organised in a gig bag or pocket.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your instrument’s neck profile and string spacing allow a spring-loaded capo to clamp evenly across all strings. The silicone pads protect finishes but require a clean surface to grip without slipping. Players needing fine tension adjustment or a screw-type mechanism should consider a different design.

Questions about this item

Will the silicone padding need replacement after heavy use?

The soft silicone pad protects the instrument from scratches and is built for long-term use, so it should not require regular replacement.

What limits the capo during a long set?

The strong spring mechanism maintains even pressure across all strings, preventing buzz and keeping tuning stable throughout extended play.

Does the aluminium alloy body get hot or add noticeable weight during all-day sessions?

At 1.2 oz the aluminium capo stays cool and adds virtually no weight, so it remains comfortable during continuous use.
