5 Core GS AC Extra Light Strings

The 5 Core GS AC set is a new pack of six acoustic guitar strings with extra light gauges from .010 to .048. A hexangular high-carbon steel core is wrapped in brass winding and protected by an anti-rust coating. The strings weigh 1.1 oz and are built for bright, warm tone with crisp projection.

Players wanting low tension and easy fretting

The extra light gauges suit beginners, fingerstyle players and anyone who prefers a softer feel and fast break-in time. The smooth surface reduces finger noise for comfortable sessions. Guitarists who need heavier tension for drop tunings, aggressive strumming or maximum volume should look at heavier gauge sets.

Gauge set .010 .014 .023 .030 .039 .048

The six individual diameters define the tension and tonal balance of the set. Matching these exact gauges to your instrument and playing style is the single specification that decides whether this pack is the right part.
