10W Megaphone for Crowd Control

The 5 Core 8R-USB-WB megaphone delivers a 10W output that projects voice up to 200 meters. It is built for fire officers, police, cheerleaders, schools, sports teams and event organisers who need clear amplification indoors or outdoors. A built-in siren alarm mode adds an emergency tone with adjustable volume. Rechargeable battery power keeps the unit ready for mobile use.

Check Power and Media Before Use

Verify that the rechargeable battery holds a charge before heading to an event. Confirm that any USB flash drive or SD card you plan to use is formatted in a file system the megaphone can read. Test the siren, record and playback buttons so you know each function works in advance. Ensure the carrying strap is securely attached for hands-free transport.

Hand-Held Build with Recording and Siren

The ergonomic grip and lightweight body let one person carry and operate the megaphone without extra mounting hardware. Built-in USB and SD slots free you from needing a separate player for pre-recorded messages. The integrated siren replaces a standalone alarm device in emergency drills. Rechargeable cells remove the need to stock disposable batteries for routine operation.

Questions about this item

Does the 5 Core 8R-USB-WB megaphone come with a USB flash drive or SD card, or do I need to supply my own?

The megaphone has a USB port and an SD card reader built in, but the description does not say a drive or card is included, so you will need to provide your own media for playback.

Should I choose the 10 W version for a school sports day or a larger outdoor rally?

The 10 W output is rated for up to 200 metres of coverage, making it suitable for both school events and larger outdoor gatherings where that range is needed.

How far will the 10 W megaphone really carry my voice in a noisy stadium?

The manufacturer states a maximum range of 200 metres for the 10 W output; actual distance will depend on ambient noise, wind and obstacles.
