Desktop microphone stand for recording

The 5 Core MSSB W is a metal desktop microphone stand finished in white with a 5.9 inch round base and anti-slip padding. It adjusts from 15.35 to 21.25 inches in height and includes an 18 inch boom arm that rotates 180 degrees. The boom uses a USA standard 5/8 inch thread for microphone mounting.

Suitable for podcasters

This stand suits users who want a compact table-top solution with flexible positioning and a heavy-duty metal build weighing 3.7 lb. It is not for buyers who need a floor-standing model, a clamp-on boom arm, or a stand that folds flat for frequent transport.

Check desk space and microphone thread

Ensure your desk can accommodate the 5.9 inch base diameter and the overall footprint of 6.5 by 2.5 inches. Verify that your microphone or shock mount uses a 5/8 inch thread or that you have the correct adapter. Confirm the height range of 15.35 to 21.25 inches matches your seated or standing position.

Will the 5.9 inch round base and 3.7 lb weight keep the stand steady if I bump my desk?

The metal construction, 5.9 inch round base with anti-slip padding and 3.7 lb weight are designed to prevent tipping or wobbling during use.

How can I confirm the boom arm locks at the angle I set between 0 and 180 degrees?
