Classic Architect Design

The 52028 is a 28-inch swing arm desk lamp with a matte rose finish and matte white accents. Its exposed springs and mechanical details give it a minimalist, traditional look suited to home offices or bedrooms. The metal construction includes a compact base that keeps the footprint small while the arm extends to full height. A rotary on/off switch sits on the shade for easy reach.

Setup Checklist

You will need a standard E26 medium-base bulb rated up to 60 watts, sold separately. The fixture accepts LED, incandescent or halogen types, with LED or incandescent recommended for best results. Ensure a nearby mains outlet is available for the plug-in power cord. The base measures 14.02 inches wide, so confirm your desk surface can accommodate that width.

Upgrade Context

This lamp replaces a fixed-position desk light when you need adjustable, targeted illumination for reading or detailed work. The spring-loaded upper arm moves up and down to direct light precisely where required. The jump is worth it if your current lamp lacks reach or positional flexibility, or if you want a larger 28-inch scale fixture with a decorative matte rose finish.
