65W USB-C charger for Dell Latitude and Chromebook

This 65W USB-C power adapter replaces the original Dell SM65CL-01 charger for Latitude 5420, 5520, 5550, 5450 and 7420 models as well as Chromebook 3100, 3110 and 5190 series. It delivers 20V at 3.25A through a USB Type-C connector with an LED charging indicator. The unit supports worldwide input voltage from 100V to 240V at 50Hz to 60Hz.

Upgrade from lower-wattage USB-C chargers

The adapter supplies up to 65W and is compatible with 45W and 60W USB-C chargers, so it can replace those lower-output units when a laptop draws more power under load. The jump is worth it when the original 45W or 60W adapter cannot sustain full performance during charging or when a single charger must cover both 45W and 65W Dell models. It also covers replacement part numbers such as LA65NM170, HA65NM170 and DA65NM190.
