Universal 891LM replacement remote

This two-pack replaces lost or broken remotes for Chamberlain, Liftmaster and Craftsman openers manufactured from 1993 to the present. Each unit is a single-button clicker programmed through the opener's learn button. The remotes ship with CR2032 batteries and visor clips already installed.

Verify learn button colour and system type

The remote works only with Security+ 2.0 rolling code openers that have a Yellow, Purple, Red, Orange or Green learn button. It will not operate any DIP switch system or Genie and Overhead Door models. Confirm the button colour on your motor unit before ordering.

Battery, clip and video guide included

Two CR2032 cells are pre-fitted so the remotes work immediately after programming. A visor clip on each unit keeps the clicker within reach on the sun visor. A free DIY programming video walks through the pairing steps without needing a professional installer.

Questions about this item

Does the 784-58952 2-pack include batteries and clips, or must they be purchased separately?

Each of the two 891LM remotes ships with a CR2032 battery already installed and a visor clip attached, so no extra parts are required.

How do I decide between the yellow, purple, red, orange or green learn-button versions listed for the 891LM remote?

The single 891LM model in this pack works with all five learn-button colours — yellow, purple, red, orange and green — so you do not choose a version; the same remote covers every supported opener from 1993 onward.

What does the 120-foot range figure mean when the remote is used on my driveway?

It indicates the maximum open-air distance at which the 891LM can reliably signal the opener; walls, vehicles and interference will reduce the practical range.
