12 GB DDR3 1333 ECC UDIMM kit (3 × 4 GB) for Mac Pro 2010 and 2012 6‑core and 12‑core models
This 12GB kit contains three 4GB DDR3 1333MHz ECC UDIMM modules built for Apple Mac Pro systems. It uses unbuffered memory with major-brand chips and runs at 1.50V. The kit matches the specifications required by the MacPro5,1 platform and installs in the 240-pin slots.
Owners of the 2010 or 2012 Mac Pro towers with 6-core or 12-core Xeon processors can use this kit to reach 12GB across three slots. Systems needing registered DIMMs, non-ECC memory, or speeds beyond DDR3 1333 will not be compatible with this module design.
The modules are 240-pin ECC unbuffered UDIMMs, the only form factor accepted by the listed Mac Pro models. A module with a different pin count, registered buffering, or missing ECC will not fit or will not be recognised by the system firmware.

This kit provides 12GB across three 4GB modules, matching the triple-channel architecture of the Mac Pro Mid 2010 and Mid 2012 6-Core and 12-Core models for full bandwidth utilisation.
The DDR3 1333 (PC3-10600) modules run at the native memory bus speed of the supported Xeon E5645, X5650, X5670, X5675 and W3680 processors, giving the maximum rated throughput those CPUs officially support.
Yes, the 240-pin ECC UDIMM form factor is the exact specification required by MacPro5,1 (A1289 EMC 2314-2 and 2629); the unbuffered ECC design is what the system firmware expects.
