12 GB kit of three 4 GB DDR3 1866 ECC UDIMM modules for the Late 2013 Mac Pro cylinder
This 12GB kit contains three 4GB DDR3 1866 ECC UDIMM modules built for the Apple Mac Pro (Late 2013). It matches the required 240-pin form factor and 1.50V operating voltage. The memory is validated for MacPro6,1 systems with order numbers ME253LL/A, MD878LL/A, MQGG2LL/A and BTO/CTO configurations.
Each module uses major-brand components in a 1Rx8 layout and delivers error-correcting code without registration. The ECC UDIMM design protects data integrity during sustained workloads while maintaining the unbuffered timing the cylinder Mac Pro expects. No heat spreaders are fitted, keeping the modules within the original thermal envelope.
This kit fits users upgrading a Late 2013 Mac Pro with Xeon E5-1620v2, E5-1650v2, E5-1680v2 or E5-2697v2 processors. It will not work in later Mac Pro towers, iMac models, or any non-Apple DDR3 platforms that require registered DIMMs or different pinouts. Buyers needing capacities beyond 12GB or registered ECC memory should look elsewhere.

No firmware updates are required; the kit is designed for Mac Pro 2013 (MacPro6,1) and installs directly into the 240-pin DDR3 slots.
The memory controller on the supported Xeon CPUs (2.7–3.7 GHz) and the PC3-14900 data rate set the maximum sustained bandwidth.
Each module runs at 1.50 V without a heat spreader; total power stays within standard DDR3 1866 ECC UDIMM limits for the Mac Pro's cooling system.
