A 16 GB DDR3L 1600 MHz SODIMM kit for 27-inch iMac models from late 2012 through mid 2015
This 16 GB kit contains four 4 GB DDR3L SODIMM modules that run at 1600 MHz and operate at 1.35 V. It is built specifically for the 27-inch iMac models released in late 2012, late 2013, late 2014 and mid 2015.
The 16 GB total fills all four slots on the supported iMacs, giving the maximum memory those systems accept. It handles everyday multitasking and creative workloads comfortably, but the platform cannot be expanded beyond this limit.
The modules use major-brand chips in a 2Rx8 unbuffered layout without error-correcting code. This matches the factory memory specification so the Mac recognises the upgrade immediately without firmware changes.
Measured against everything we stock in Model-Specific Memory Upgrades, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.
