192GB DDR4-2400 ECC LRDIMM kit for 13th Gen

This six-module kit delivers 192GB of DDR4-2400 ECC Load Reduced memory. It is built for Dell PowerEdge R430, R530, R630, R630 XL, R730, R730 XL, R730xd, R730xd XL, R830 and R930 rack servers. The quad-rank 4Rx4 organisation suits heavy virtualisation and database workloads on these platforms.

Verify your server model

This kit only fits the 13th Gen PowerEdge models listed above. Your system must support DDR4 ECC Load Reduced DIMMs; ECC Registered or non-ECC unbuffered modules cannot be mixed with these. Check the service manual for the correct slot population sequence and maximum supported capacity per processor.

288-pin LRDIMM modules without heat spreaders

Each 32GB module uses a standard 288-pin DDR4 form factor and runs at 1.2V. The bare PCB design keeps height low for dense rack chassis airflow. Load Reduced buffering reduces electrical load on the memory bus, allowing all six modules to operate at the rated 2400MHz speed when populated according to the platform guidelines.

Questions about this item

Does the kit include everything needed to populate all memory slots, or must additional modules be purchased separately?

The package contains six 32 GB DDR4 2400 ECC LRDIMM modules for a total of 192 GB. No other parts are included.

Which capacity option should I choose if my Dell PowerEdge R730 supports up to 192 GB across six channels?

This 192 GB kit (6 x 32 GB) matches the six-channel limit of the R730 and provides the maximum supported capacity per channel.

What does the DDR4 2400 speed rating mean for actual throughput in a PowerEdge R630?

The modules run at 2400 MHz with CL17 latency; the system will operate at the speed of the slowest installed module.
