A 32 GB DDR3 1066 ECC registered kit of four 8 GB modules for compatible Mac Pro and Xserve models
This 32GB kit contains four 8GB registered ECC modules that run at DDR3 1066 (PC3-8500) with a 1.50V supply. It is built for Apple Mac Pro models from Early 2009, Mid 2010 and Mid 2012 plus Xserve units from Early 2009. Each module uses a 240-pin RDIMM form factor and major-brand chips.
Registered buffering and ECC correction keep data integrity stable when all four channels are fully populated and the system runs continuous workloads. The 2Rx4 organisation spreads access across ranks, helping the memory controller maintain throughput during long compile jobs, virtualisation tasks or large dataset processing.
The PC3-8500 standard caps peak bandwidth at the rated 1066/1067 MHz clock, so total throughput cannot exceed that ceiling regardless of module count. Builders needing higher memory speeds or greater capacity per slot cannot meet those needs with this DDR3 generation.
