8 GB DDR3 1066 MHz ECC registered DIMM with quad-rank x8 organisation for servers and workstations
Capacity 8GB
Speed DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500)
This 8 GB registered DIMM is built for servers and workstations that require DDR3 1066 ECC memory. It adds capacity to compatible platforms without altering the existing memory architecture.
The module runs at the DDR3 standard voltage of 1.5 V and uses a registered buffer to reduce electrical load on the memory controller. ECC circuitry detects and corrects single-bit errors during normal operation.
The 4Rx8 organisation packs 8 GB into a single 240-pin slot, allowing higher total memory per channel where the platform supports quad-rank modules. Major-brand chips are tested for reliability before shipment.
Measured against everything we stock in ECC Server RAM, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Other versions of this model
Power down the server, open the chassis, align the notch on the 240-pin module with the slot key, press firmly until both retention clips click, then verify in BIOS that the 1.5 V registered DIMM is recognised at 1066 MHz.
No routine maintenance is required; keep air filters clean so the 1.50 V memory stays cool, and replace the module only if system diagnostics report correctable ECC errors that exceed the platform threshold.
The memory controller's maximum supported quad-rank capacity per channel is typically reached before thermal or bandwidth limits, so confirm your server's rank-per-channel specification before adding more modules.
