The 1Rx4 organisation keeps electrical loading low per channel, but total capacity is fixed at 96GB; systems needing more memory must use higher-density modules or a different platform.

DDR4-2133 registered interface limits

The DDR4-2133 registered DIMM interface caps transfer rates at 2133MHz, so any faster modules installed alongside will downclock to this speed. Mixing registered and load-reduced ECC types is not supported, and all populated slots must share the same ECC type. Desktop or laptop systems that only accept unbuffered non-ECC memory cannot use these modules.
