Metal Repair Putty for Multiple Surfaces

ABATRON BronzeWeld-P is a two-part epoxy putty supplied in a 16 oz pail for repairing metal, ceramic, fiberglass and glass. The bronze-coloured compound suits maintenance workshops, marine yards and automotive shops that need a durable, non-shrinking filler for structural and cosmetic repairs.

Temperature Limits and Working Window

The product performs between 50 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit, so extreme cold or heat will reduce bond reliability. Users have one hour of working time after mixing before the epoxy begins to set, and full cure requires two days at standard ambient conditions.

Non-Shrinking Build and Paintable Finish

Once cured the putty resists wear and does not shrink, maintaining the repaired profile under vibration and load. The surface accepts paint directly, allowing colour-matched finishes without additional priming, while the flash point of 245 degrees Fahrenheit indicates stable handling during storage and use.

Questions about this item

Is the 16 oz pail the only container size available for this BronzeWeld-P putty?

The supplier lists this item as a 16 oz pail. No other container sizes are mentioned in the product details.

What does the 2 day full cure time mean for a repair job in a real workshop?

After mixing and applying the putty, it reaches full structural strength in 2 days at normal temperatures. You have a 1 hour working time to shape or tool the repair before it begins to set.

How does the 50 to 100 degrees F performance range limit where I can use this epoxy putty?

The cured putty maintains its rated properties between 50 and 100 degrees F. Outside that range, performance is not guaranteed, so avoid continuous service in colder or hotter environments.
