What this camera does

The ABL Corp 2MP 1080P HD-TVI IR Dome Camera captures 1920x1080 video at 50fps over a single BNC output. It is built for installers who need real-time HD-TVI transmission with IP66 water-proof housing and an 8mm lens for focused coverage.

Installation notes

Power the unit from a DC12V supply within ±10% tolerance and run coaxial cable to the DVR. The camera uses an ICR day/night switch that activates automatically at 0.lux with LEDs on, so aim the dome away from direct bright lights to avoid glare. Ensure the mounting surface can hold the bracket and that cable entries are sealed to maintain the IP66 rating.

Before you order

Verify that your recorder accepts HD-TVI signal on a BNC input and supplies DC12V power. Confirm the operating range of -20 to 50 Celsius and 10 to 90 percent humidity matches the installation site. Check that an 8mm fixed lens provides the desired field of view for the target area.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the camera is recording 1920x1080 video after installation?

Connect the BNC output to a compatible HD-TVI recorder or monitor and confirm the live feed displays 1080P resolution at 50fps with clear day or night image.

What accessories are included and what must I purchase separately?

The camera unit is supplied; you must separately provide a DC12V power supply, coaxial cable for the BNC connection, and an HD-TVI compatible recorder or display.

Which lens option suits a narrow, longer corridor best?

The fixed 8mm lens gives a narrower field of view than wider lenses, making it better suited for monitoring longer, narrower areas such as corridors.
