Power adapter for Rubicon DX17

This ABLEGRID charger supplies 24V output to the ZZR-E200B-SBN50 battery used in Rubicon DX17 automatic foldable electric wheelchairs. It accepts AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz for worldwide use. The unit includes over-voltage and over-heat protection. It is a non-OEM replacement built to match the original specifications.

Replaces the original wheelchair charger

The adapter serves as a direct substitute when the factory-supplied power supply is lost, damaged or no longer holds a charge. The jump is worth it when the wheelchair cannot charge from its existing brick and a compatible 24V XLR-output unit is required. No internal battery modification is needed.

Verify connector and voltage before ordering

Confirm that the DC output tip size matches the wheelchair charging port by referencing the product images. Ensure the device requires a 24V DC input with a 3-pin XLR connector. Do not use the adapter if the tip polarity or dimensions differ from the original equipment.

Questions about this item

Does the 3-pin XLR connector match the charging port on my Rubicon DX17 wheelchair?

The charger uses a 3-pin XLR output plug designed for the Rubicon DX17 ZZR-E200B-SBN50; verify your wheelchair's port matches this connector before ordering.

How do I connect the charger to the wheelchair battery and what step is often missed?

Plug the AC cord into a 100-240V wall outlet, then insert the XLR plug fully into the wheelchair charging port; the step often missed is ensuring the XLR pins are fully seated so the 24V output engages.

What ongoing care does the charger need to keep working safely?

Keep the unit in a ventilated, dry area during use; do not rest it on upholstery or skin-contact surfaces, and unplug it if the housing becomes excessively hot.
