Charges Nokia BL-5C batteries and powers devices via USB with automatic shut-off and overload protection
The ABLEGRID charger powers compatible Nokia Li-ion batteries and supplies a USB output for charging phones or other small devices directly. It accepts AC 100-240V input for worldwide travel use. The unit suits owners of legacy Nokia handsets who need a replacement or spare mains charger.
The charger draws 150mA from the mains and delivers DC 4.2V at 400mA to the battery slot with built-in short-circuit and overload protection. An intelligent chip regulates voltage and stops charging automatically when the battery reaches full capacity. No moving parts mean silent operation and minimal heat during normal use.
This model only fits batteries measuring between 32mm and 55mm wide, covering the listed Nokia BL-5C cells used in the 6820, 6822, 7600, 7610 and E60. Batteries outside that width range cannot be seated or charged safely. Buyers with wider or narrower cells need a different charger.

Slide the pins to match the 32 mm to 55 mm width of the BL-5C, insert the battery with correct polarity, then plug the charger into a 100-240 V AC outlet; the step often missed is confirming the LCD shows a connection before walking away.
The unit has no user-serviceable parts; keep the US plug pins and USB port free of dust, and replace the charger only if the short-circuit or overload protection trips repeatedly or the LCD stops indicating charge status.
The USB output is rated at 5.2 V and 800 mA, so sustained charging of a phone will be limited by that current ceiling, causing slower charge rates compared with higher-amperage adapters.
