What this converter does

The ABLEWE AV2-12HD accepts analogue RCA composite video and stereo audio then outputs HDMI at 720p or 1080p 60 Hz. It is built for owners of legacy consoles such as PS One, PS2, PS3, N64, Xbox, Wii or VHS and DVD players who want to connect them to a modern TV or monitor.

Signal format support decides fit

The unit handles PAL, NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N standards automatically. If your source uses any of those formats the converter will work; if the source requires a different standard or a higher resolution than 1080p this adapter cannot meet the need.

Thermals noise and power

Power draw is 10 watts from a 5 volt 1 amp USB supply so heat stays low and the aluminium case runs warm but not hot. There is no fan, therefore operation is completely silent in normal use.
